One More Quick Sandy Update

This is the Path terminal in Hoboken NJ at the height of Sandy

I spent the day at work today - little power - lot's of clean up.

There had been 2 feet of water throughout the first floor where all the manufacturing equipment was. What A Mess.

Of all the dozens of people I spoke to today I was the only one who never lost power. There are TONS of people here in NJ who are struggling to stay warm and even find shelter.

I think the news listed 1.8MM still without power.

Please keep NJ in your prayers (not to mention our neighbors NY, PA, DE, CT and MD - and i am sure there are others too)

Thanks much!

Hard to imagine what that must be like and that many people still needing help, still without power, heat and some even without shelter. Ben, if you know of somewhere good for us to donate to, as to help others in need there, could you pass it on? Thank you and God bless you.

It's a good question, and I really am not sure who is doing what right now - lots of local church are opening up their doors - we got a phone message last night that the Catholic church in town is serving coffee, and warmth - and giving places to recharge devises every afternoon from 1 pm to 5 pm untill all the power is back. In our neck of the woods there are not many totally displaced, but I know as you move further south, and in many parts of NYC they evacuated and people are not allowed back in yet.

Thanks for the reminder to pray for you guys. We're praying that the resources will be made available fairly and efficiently, and that God will help you be great witnesses to his love, under such difficult situations.
