Super Secrets! Wheat and Tares – part 1

Wheat

Time to tare into the next parable. (yes – I know – it’s a bad pun – OK?)

Rather than start at the top though, I want to jump into the middle and see one quick thing that will bless you in a large way.

All these things Jesus spoke to the multitudes in parables, and He did not speak to them without a parable, so that what was spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled, saying, “I will utter things hidden since the foundation of the world.” Then He left the multitudes, and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.” And He answered and said… (Matthew 13:34-37 NASB with my emphasis)

Check out these 3 things I have highlighted:

  • These things have been hidden since the foundations of the world.
  • The disciples asked for understanding.
  • Jesus explained it to them.

You’ve got questions?

ASK.

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. (James 1:5 NASB)

I am not talking about simple questions either; I am talking about things that have been hidden since forever!

What is your question today? Approach His throne boldly and ask!

BenThanks for coming by.

See you tomorrow.

  1. Thank you for encouraging us to ASK Him . ..instead of always going to someone else. That has been one thing about being more isolated (not really the word I want to use) .. .there is more time for it to be just Him and me. (see? not really isolated!)
    God bless you and yours!

    • There is so much I miss because i don’t ask, and I am so blown away by how the answers come when i do. God is so faithful to be a companion to us as we walk with Him.

Thank you much for stopping in. Bless you and Aubrey.
