The Woman Who Testified

Tell Your Story!
Tell Your Story!

And from that city many of the Samaritans believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, “He told me all the things that I have done.” (John 4:39 NASB)

Testimony – God turned the city around using her (really – of all people – this 6 time loser Samaritan woman) YES her testimony.

I have one simple message for today.

What God has done in your life is enough to turn the city around.

Notice – it was not who she had been, but what He had done that drew the crowds.

What has God done in your life?

What words has He spoken over you?

There is power in telling your story!

BenTell someone today!

See you tomorrow.

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." (Revelation 12:10)

Throughout history, the most powerful tool for witnessing to unbelievers is our testimonies. It was all the early church had and turned the world upside down.

I LOVE telling my God-stories!! And I loved Pastor Robt Morris' message last weekend--he was showing the Jesus-method of leading folks into an encounter with Christ (using the Samaritan woman's story). He told us not to "argue" with people (Jesus didn't argue, He'd just say, "it is written, it is written, it is written")--just to tell our story of what God had done for us. People can argue about evolution, different religions, etc etc, but they CANNOT argue with My Story. And it was really helpful that he said we don't need to know the Answers to all the Endless Arguments--that it's perfectly fine for us to say, "I don't know about dinosaurs--but what I do know is that my life was a MESS, and Jesus came in and saved me from my lunacy; fixed things so that I could have a rich Abundant Life full of JOY and Peace, and walk in His Grace".

And you know this sis could just go on and on, jabberin'--but I'll leave some space for the rest of y'all! God bless you, Ben--love, sis Caddo

That's great! Sounds like fun - I would love to be a fly on the wall for such an event. Pretty sure i would not qualify as an artist, but I love hanging out with creative folks.

      God bless your words bro.

I love testimonies! I could listen and read them forever. Thank you for encouraging us to share ours, that they are more powerful than we think. God bless you, Mr. Ben.
