How do you like them apples?

Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? - Matthew 7:15-16 NASB

Is Jesus confused?

Didn’t He mean to say, judge him by his creed? …his denomination? … his credentials?

We are talking false prophets here!

Shouldn’t we examine every word and try to catch him (or her) in a mistake, and error, and foul heresy?

Don’t get me wrong. I hate it when folks twist scriptures. I hate it when people spew false doctrines.

That’s what makes me crazy about this scripture.

Jesus says, “you will know them by their fruit.”

Well then…

Hey – thanks for coming by.

It is a red letter day – let’s listen to the red letters today.

sure thing - and it won't take long to show up either. Fruit is not something we can force - it is a result and so is not something we can control - it just comes out and reveals the vine we are attached to.
