      really very striking when you think about Paul's surroundings as he wrote stuff like "I can do all things" and "I count it all dung" and stuff like that.

        It is true. When you think of what Paul was actually saying when he wrote I can do all things through Christ... he was talking about enduring prison. We so often put that down to things like being able to finish an exercise video or win a new job title. We forget the lesson when we are in the midst of a trial.
